Welcome to the official Lisa Gardner website where you'll experience crime, murder, mystery and suspense.
Everyone is always asking how such a nice girl like me can write such dark, twisted books. I honestly don't know. But eight New York Times bestselling crime thrillers later, I seem to have made a career out of it.
We've recently made some changes to the site to make it easier to navigate and more complete. I've tried to include lots of interesting material for my readers: more about the novels including FAQs and reviews, and the infamous Kill a Friend, Maim a Buddy Sweepstakes where you can gain immortality and a signed copy of the finished novel. I also have a monthly contest, a sneak preview of my upcoming book, and even articles and lectures on the craft of writing.
So relax. Hang out. Enjoy the potpourri of pages. And who knows, maybe someday you can tell me how in the world my life came to this.

Now pregnant, FBI Special Agent Kimberly Quincy takes on the most dangerous case of her career, involving half a dozen missing prostitutes, two kidnapped children, one lying informant, and a villain who is obsessed with spiders. Get ready to be very, very scared...

"A spider-obsessed killer is hunting Atlanta prostitutes. Luckily, pregnant FBI special agent Kimberly Quincy has a sense of humor and a thick skin (think Frances McDormand in Fargo) as she chases a villain who calls himself Dincharait's an anagram for arachnid. Despite his ridiculous alias, he's seriously scary and flashbacks to his abusive past achieve a ripped-from-the-headlines authenticity." Grade: B
Katharine Critchlow, Entertainment Weekly
"...Gardner delivers a satisfying resolution in line with what her fans have come to expect: a suspenseful freak show wrapped up with a neatly tied bow."
Publisher's Weekly
"Absorbing. Gardner keeps the surprises coming to an explosive conclusion..."

"The tension here doesn't stem just from the sicko responsible for setting every Boston parent on edge, but from Dodge and his witness, whose relationship sizzles as the case careens to its twisted climax."
People (4 stars)
"Gardner takes the reader on a nail-biting ride to the thrilling climax."
