2003 News Archive

  • 3 November 2003 Production has just wrapped up in Vancouver for the CBS movie version of THE SURVIVORS CLUB, starring Roma Downey and Jacqueline Bisset. No word on an air date yet, but probably sometime soon. Of course, the author is always the last to know...

  • 30 August 2003 THE KILLING HOUR scored a perfect 10 from Romance Reviews Today and has been nominated for best book of the year. According to reviewer Terrie Figueroa, "[THE KILLING HOUR] will keep you up all night rapidly turning the pages and have your heart in your throat throughout."

  • 11 August 2003 Read a book, aid a cause: In spring of 2003, I pledged $500 to the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket for each week THE SURVIVORS CLUB appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. My agents and publisher generously kicked in additional funds and all told, we raised over $3,000 for the Boys & Girls Club's literacy program. Reader support made this happen, so a big thank you from me and a heartfelt hallelujah from the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, RI.

  • 1 July 2003 With the debut of THE KILLING HOUR, Lisa Gardner now has over 5 million copies of her books in print. That's a couple of novels floating around!
Lisa is thrilled to announce that THE KILLING HOUR has received a coveted starred review from Publishers Weekly.

"With tight plotting, an ear for forensic detail and a dash of romance, this is a truly satisfying sizzler in the tradition of Tess Gerritsen and Tami Hoag."
Publishers Weekly (starred review)
